Fish Tumors and other Deformities (BUI #4)

In order to remove the impairment, the following removal criteria must be met:

• Incidence rates of fish tumors or other deformities do not exceed rates at unimpacted control sites; AND
• Survey data confirm the absence of neoplastic or preneoplastic liver tumors in bullheads or suckers as compared to control sites; AND
• No reproductive deformities in observed resident species as compared to control sites.

This BUI is also designated as impaired by the SLR AOC at Cornwall/Akwesasne.
