The purpose of the Saint Regis Mohawk Health Services Laboratory is to perform the correct analysis on the correct specimen in a timely manner while insuring the medically relevant accuracy of the results.
- Return the properly identified results to the providers in a clear, concise form and in a time period that allows the test results to be useful for the medical decision making.
- Immediately notify the provider of any results that suggest an immediate threat to the health of the patient.
- Use feedback from the provider and medical staff to improve all aspects of laboratory operations.
