Mission: To ensure a safe and supportive environment where individuals and families can heal, learn, and grow. Through counseling, education, and culturally responsive care, we can empower our community and other Native Americans to live healthy lives, that are alcohol, substance use, and addiction-free.
We are certified by New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports. We offer services to individuals and families that have been affected by substance use. Our treatment approach and philosophy is based on the belief that substance use disorder is a disease. Some of the various treatment approaches used is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Native American Spirituality.
Our office staff is made up of an administrative assistant, case manager, peer support specialist, counselors, program coordinator, assistant clinical director and a clinical director. The services we provide include but are not limited to the following: provide information and resources; assessments for substance use disorders, Outpatient treatment program; relapse prevention treatment; aftercare services, adolescent drug/alcohol education services; referrals to other outpatient treatment centers; compulsive gambling screenings. Each individual has their own needs, each treatment is tailored around those needs and wants.
NARCAN Program
With community outreach, this program educates individuals on the effects of Opioid use and how naloxone can reverse an overdose, potentially saving a life. With a simple educational training, community members are able to recognize and prevent a death from overdose. Along with this, attendees receive a free Narcan kit.
For more information, referral, or Narcan training, please feel free to reach out to our office at the number listed at the top!
