Hours of operation open to members: Monday through Friday 1:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday & Sunday noon to 8:00 p.m.

Ronthahiiohsthà:ke A/CDP Clubhouse is a youth program in which the New York State Office of Alcohol and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS) awarded the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe’s Alcoholism/Chemical Dependency Program (A/CDP) funds to open a clubhouse for the youth of Akwesasne. Ronthahiiohsthà:ke opened on July 1, 2018, and serves youth ages 15 to 20 from Akwesasne.

The mission of Ronthahiiohsthà:ke is to provide a safe and welcoming environment for youth and young adults to develop prosocial skills and to promote long-term health, wellness, recovery and a drug and alcohol-free lifestyle.

Ronthahiiohsthà:ke program goals consist of: skill building; peer engagement to foster friendships, self-esteem and self-worth; develop sense of responsibility to self and community; encourage positive family, peer and community involvement; maintain a drug/alcohol-free lifestyle and/or strengthen recovery; provide cultural-centered activities/education to promote self-awareness and strengthen own identities. Ronthahiiohsthà:ke also provides tutoring, mentoring, peer support groups, and referrals to health and wellness supported programs, as needed.

Ronthahiiohsthà:ke also has a variety of recreational activities such as; a pool table, ping pong table, computers, Mondopad, indoor & outdoor games, and cultural craft making.

There is no charge for our programming or activities. To become a member, youth must be between the ages of 15 to 20, and are required to fill out a brief application.
