Environmental Assessment Comment Period Notification

AKWESASNE -- The Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe’s Environment Division is notifying community members that a 10-day Public Comment Period is being provided for an environmental assessment from 8 Raquette Point Rd - Cannabis Retail Location. The expedited review is for individuals to review plans for the small-scale construction project to prevent or minimize potential impacts to the environment and community.
The submitted environmental assessment is available to view under “Publications” on the Tribe’s website at www.srmt-nsn.gov. A copy can also be requested by contacting Jessica Raspitha, SRMT Land Resources Program Manager at (518) 358-5937.
The deadline to submit written comments is Friday, November 5th and can be sent to:
