Tribal Courts Announces New Safety Screening Measures

AKWESASNE — (Enníska/February 5, 2024) In an effort to protect the safety of our community members, the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribal Courts is notifying the community that all visitors and Tribal Court participants will be subject to security screenings upon entering the building. In addition, any knives, weapons, incendiary devices and cell phones will be prohibited in the courtroom. Any of the listed prohibited items may be checked with Tribal Court staff for safekeeping or left in your personal vehicle during your visit.
